Water Bridge Development, Amuchuma Chico, Bolivia

Fund raised, financed and coordinated the design, construction and installation of a high quality water bridge for the community of Amuchuma Chico, Bolivia, in response to unprecedented torrential rainfall and a subsequent landslide that destroyed their water bridge in 2008. The unusual rainfall is thought to be linked to emerging climate changes. The project was implemented in coordination with a World Bank-implemented project (PRAA), volunteers in community and colleagues in Bolivia. Completed  2009.
